This was a certified pre-owned vehicle with very few miles when I bought it. The first thing to go was the in dash screen with radio and everything else. Dealer wanted $750 to put a remanufactured unit in. Next came the TIPM which as I understand is a very common problem with these particular vehicles. Ended up having to pay out of pocket a little over $1000. dollars and I was the one to diagnose the problem. The dealership acted like they couldn't find a problem. It was so bad that the key fob would not even turn in the slot. Was in the shop for almost a month and a half. Since the TIPM was replaced, it has been one electrical problem after another. Have replaced the alternator 3 times and more batteries than I want to think about.
I wish there was some sort of class action law suite here in Texas that I could get in on. If a bad car is called a lemon, I could open a lemonade stand with this one. I have also had to have front brakes done at least 4 times. We finally just parked it and it is now a yard ornament. Looks pretty good to be as old as it is now. I would not sell it to my worst enemy. Though about donating it to some charity but don't want that on my conscience for the rest of my life. All roads ultimately lead back to the electrical system in this thing.
