Vehicle seized up and stalled during driving. Previous cranks but won't start 1 year many times. Did a relay bypass wire to start vehicle. Transmission problems and not acceleration.
The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan SE vehicle stalled the vehicle did not start again tipm relay (according to contact, not diagnosed byt dealer) the contact stated that while attempting to make a turn the vehicle stalled in the middle of the road. No warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was pushed to the side of the road. The vehicle was not diagnosed by a dealer. The contact diagnosed and repaired the vehicle himself. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 89,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving approximately 72 mph, there was a warning chime and the vehicle independently decelerated to approximately 40 mph without warning. The vehicle would not accelerate past 40 mph as the electronic throttle control and electronic stability control warning indicators illuminated. The contact powered the vehicle off and back on and was able to drive the vehicle home without incident. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 31,000. Updated 02/12/16 the consumer stated software update was performed.
