NHTSA# 98 V 184 000/manufacturer's recall 790 concerning fuel leakage dealer layton hills Dodge; layton, ut; phone# 801/546-2456 unable to honor recall because no parts were available.
Recall 98 V 184 000/fuel leakage; repairs made at hickley Dodge, salt lake, ut, phone # 994-4400. Problem with fuel rail leakages on May 16, 2001. Dealer notified, and waiting on pick up from the dealer. During recall repairs, dealer informed consumer of three bad injectors, while driving vehicle home consumer experienced a massive fuel leak, took back to dealer who stated that a bolt that holds down the injector was bad, they tried to get it off with an easy out and they broke it off, consumer took vehicle to another shop where they removed it and installed a new bolt.
The vehicle had a recall done for the fuel systems leakage. (#98V184000) the motor had ran hot. Vehicle had worked fine prior to the repairs. Will be taking vehicle back to dealer.
