Blown 98 Dodge Intrepid 2.7 liter. Done enough research and out a enough money to be pissed off. Don't expect me to be a future customer of Mercedes, Chrysler, or mitsubiti.

Engine check light came on and the transmission would not shift out of first gear. The speedometer did not work either. The mechanic said the transmission needed to be replaced and also informed me that other Dodge Intrepids had the same problem.

I am not very happy with these problems. Why do I have to keep my horns wrapped in plastic for a year. They say they are redesigning the horns but none have come out yet. When my warranty is out I will be out too. I am writing the manufactor. Today about this problem. It stinks!! also I do not understand how my rotors could be warped. The pads are still in good shape. They only wanted to turn the rotors. I do not trust these guys. I am getting a second opinion wed. Oct. 27 about the rotors. I can see from your site that the drivers side window has given trouble to other owners. I just got the car back again Thursday and the window that they had to remove to put in the new motor is still not set right. When I call them back it willbe my 4th try. Also the theft alarm they fixed this Oct 21, thurs. Was just rigged. I am taking it back and show them the poor work quality. The trunk hangs while opening because they wrapped a mound of tape around the so called break in the wiring. Who is out here to help put these guys in their place. I pay big money for a nice car and I am plagued with problems. They won't like me for sending this info in. But I am mad now. I am tired of taking the car in for repeated repairs. Any insight or info you could give me would be appreciated. I am looking to sell but that will be my last resort, because I will lose money. Thank you for taking the time to read this message. Sincerely, paula T harris

There is a little shelf on the right side of instrument panel, and had a few coins on that shelf. While making a right turn, the coins fell behind the steering column and the airbag light came on, indicating a problem with the airbag system. An hour later, the airbag light came off. Dealer said if the coins did fall behind the column, and itwas possible the airbag may have deployed if the coins hit a sensor.
