This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Service dealership claims wires were exposed as a result of some previous repair. This vehicle had no previous repair work except for a sensor which was replaced under warranty. Terefore, the malfunction had to result from factory workmanship or the dealer performing the warranty sensor replacement. Yet, I'm getting no assistance from Dodge in this power train control module replacement, which is costing in excess of $1,000. The vehicle is approximately 6,000 miles past warranty coverage. I would recommend that no one purchase a Dodge product because, obviously, Dodge will not stand behind their products.
