After about a year of driving this NEW Journey, the struts went out and had to be replaced by the dealership - then, again for the second time about 12 months later, it was back to the dealership for yet another strut replacement - which I had to pay part of the labor to fix. Now for the third time in less than 12 months, the struts need replacing again!!! I have yet another appointment next Friday to have the struts checked and as I know from experience, they will need to be replaced again.
Every time they replace the struts, I have to get a rental car and go through the hassle of going back to return the rental during working hours, when I work almost two hours away from the dealership. I refuse to pay for labor again to fix a problem that is Dodge's workmanship and has nothing to do with normal wear and tear of the vehicle. There are 20 year old vehicles riding around with the struts that came on the car and my 4 year old car is about to get its 4th set of struts!!! Really...… Where does the Lemon law come into play???
