I have replaced the coils, plugs map sensor, cleaned throttle body. new pcv valve. Put cold air intake in. Went to dealership and got a new gas tank( free) recall. Have fuel pump replaced there. Had radiator replaced. I'm at a loss for what to do next. I ordered a new computer ECU/PCM. Should receive it next week. All that's left to do is replace o2 censors or transmission censors. The codes that come up are. P0700, U0100. One's a transmission control system code and the other is lost communication with ECM/PCM. Any ideas?????? Please help.

Magnum SRT8 6.1L V8

It seems I am not the only one with stalling at idle along with shut down under acceleration with momentum and re-start.

My husband and I own an automotive business and are no strangers to vehicle/engine repair. And most certainly we know people we can trust and go to for assistance. But this has been a huge challenge. No codes. No regularity. Stalling occurs on a daily basis. I have altered my driving routes and habits to accommodate this mysterious problem.

We have made ALL the suggested corrections. Interestingly enough my car does not stall when the tank is full. I have had issues with the cap on occasion, but that is an easy enough fix.

Has anyone gone ahead and actually changed the computer with any luck?

I absolutely love my car and haven't had any real problems until this. I am hopeful I can fix it.

Magnum ES 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

I would stop at a red light and the car would stall out. I would have to wait 20 minutes to start the car back up. sometimes that would work and sometimes not. I live in Charlotte, NC and it gets very hot here. There were plenty of days that my son and I got stuck in this hot car which is unsafe. I attempted to have the problem fixed several times, I spent over $3000 and it didn't improve anything. I eventually gave up and spent too much money so i sold it .
