So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The car had no power and the transmission started to slip and now it slips every time you use the car. This is dangerous because if you were in on coming traffic and you had to move you cant move quick.
Travelling on interstate, going 30 to 40 mph because of rush hour traffic. Transmission starts to slip. I was lucky enough to pull car onto the shoulder and out of traffic. After towed to dealership, I'm told a plug on the radiator that connects to the transmission "popped" off. This caused all the transmission fluid to drain on the interstate and immobilized my car. The radiator has to be completely replaced because of this plug.
While driving, vehicle will skip gears. This almost caused an accident. The dealership flushed the automactic transmission, but 5 weeks later the transmission was shot, it had to be replaced.
Transmission, the first time needed the seals and caps replaced, the second time it needed to be flushed, then the battery blew up, then the lifters in the engine and the rods went bad and I need to get the engine replaced.
