The contact stated that both interior door handles on the driver and passenger side doors fractured in half and the contact was unable to exit the vehicle using the door handles. The contact would have to reach outside the window to open the door using the exterior door handles. Intermittently, the windows would also fail and would not open therefore, the contact would have someone open the door from the outside or she would climb to the rear seat in order to exit the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the handles could be replaced but at her expense. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 102,800 and the current mileage was approximately 103,000.
