I had my vehicle a week before it start misfiring it-??s been months I had it worked on numerous times and still has not been fixed. When I try to crank it I have to keep my foot on the gas and if I let go it will cut back off I had so many parts replaced and the issue remain the same
Throttle body light came on car died. Thought it was throttle body replaced it didn-??t start. It has crank but no start. Have had 11 people look at it now have replaced spark plugs, coils, battery terminals, crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, fuel pump but the car still will not start. I was told the tipm could cause this issue I need to know what else I can do. I have no vehicle now can-??t work due to this and I am struggling to get by. No codes show up, no blinking red light for the key, checked the fuses, checked fuel pressure. Been down a month now.
The TIPM is starting to fail. The power locks do not work, the car has problems starting has a very slow start, the horn will randomly go off and sometimes it does not want to start at all. Every article I-??ve read, and every dealership I-??ve talked with has said to replace the entire TIPM module. There are many other cases like this and it all comes down to the module. So with this said I am asking for either reassurance that it is that. Or receive help to be able to fix it.
My engine stalled. But only when the transmission was at park. It happened twice in 5 years and when it was raining. Also my engine struggles a bit to turn on in the morning but only in the summer time. If it-??s winter car starts up with ease. But I do notice when my engine is fully warm and I shut off my car to go to a store, when I go back and turn on my car it will just crank. I have to shut it off and then turn it back on.This happens quite often. And this only happens in the winter in a fully warmed engine. Not the summer. This been happening about three years now. I-??ve got it inspected but nothing is found wrong.

Last November, you notified me of a recall on my 2007 Dodge Nitro for the driver air bag emblem. I called bill luke Dodge in phoenix for an appointment and they said the part is on back order until December, and that I would be contacted. I have never been contacted... and now you sent me a 2nd notice. I called bill luke Dodge again and was informed that it is on back order now until June. Instead of you sending me past-due notices, why don't you call the dealer to get the part and perform the service. November to June will be seven months. That is a long time for a safety delay! and I am caught in the middle between you and the dealer.
The car horn honks non-stop for hours sometimes... then nothing for a week or two. Almost had an accident when this horn went off. I read read that many 2007 Dodge Nitro's have this problem!! they say it could be the horn switch or tipm module (totally integrated power module). Started months ago but stopped, as of 11/01/19 it is happening often and I have to disconnect the battery. I heard it could start fire!!
I am filing this complaint about the door handles on my Nitro 3 out of 4 of them are broken and cannot be opened from the inside. They broke by simply trying to open the door, it made a popping noise and no longer worked a week later another door and a few days later a third door. I took my vehicle to dealership and they quoted me almost $200 for each door and confirmed that it is broken door handle. After deciding to for go repairs I did some research on the internet and discovered that many many more people are having this same issue. I feel this is a serious safety issue because it's only a matter of time before a child might be playing hide and seek climbs into the vehicle and can't get out. The only way to open the door is to roll down the window which are electric and reach hand out and open from the outside. So that is a second safety issue if car battery goes out and you can't open window you are basically locked in your car. I contacted Dodge and no recall has been put in for this issue.I urge you to please look into this and you will find multiple complaints and it is a manufacturing defect I believe they are responsible for. While driving to work on Monday morning at 60mph the truck shut down lost all power and can't be restarted almost crashed..have replaced all the major suspect to find out along with 1000S of others the anti theif device or the wcm is the problem and we as consumers should not have to cover the cost or head aches of getting this resolved.there are more than enough complaints to issue a recall so people can get there trucks bck on the road..
On 3/21/18 I was driving through a major intersection when the battery dash light came on in my truck. I found this to be odd since I had just had a brand-new battery installed on in my truck on 1/8/18, then the following events occurred in rapid succession: All of the dash warning lights came on, the A/C which was on at the time and blowing very cold air, began blowing hot air, I attempted to roll down the electric powered windows and they would not work; the windshield wipers came on without prompting. I quickly decided to turn around and go back home since I was a short distance away. I decided to take a route through a residential neighborhood since I was unsure what would happen next and thought it would be best not to be on a major roadway if anything further occurred. I made a left into the residential neighborhood and noticed my truck was moving very sluggish and making a weird noise. I was approaching a stop sign up ahead; however, before I could apply the brakes my truck just cut off. I quickly put the gear in park and attempted to turn on my hazard light for oncoming traffic to go around me but I realized at this point my truck had absolutely no power. A gentleman on a bicycle stopped to assist me and we decided it would be best if he pushed my truck around the corner I was stalled at, to keep from obstructing oncoming traffic. He instructed me to put the truck in neutral but I was unable to do so, I could not turn the car on nor could I move it out of park gear. The street I was stopped on is a major road for entering and exiting the neighborhood that I was attempting to pass through to get home. Electrical problem when pressing unlock button my doors lock instead. My plug outlet no longer works. When rolling down driver window down. Passenger window will roll down and up also. My gas cap light has stayed and and gas cap has been replaced.shift solenoid
Vehicle stallls while driving it happens at all speeds and all types of roads highway 70 mph to neighborhood at 25 mph. The emergency brake engages, all interior light start flashing on, except all the lights for the heater controls go out and we lose power to cigarette lighter and power steering is lost. If it doesn't lose power completely the transmission won't shift and the car needs to be shut of and restarted. Other days vehicle won't start at all, or will start and immediately shut off.
I took my 2007 Dodge Nitro to have a diagnostic test conducted and it was noted that the cause of my automatic door locks would not operate because of something related to thetimp module.
