The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Nitro. While the vehicle was parked or being driven the power door locks failed to lock or open the doors without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the totally integrated power module failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 120,000. Updated 06/23/17
