If memory serves correctly, I think 6 out of the 10 freeze-out plugs went and they all had to be replaced. At some point before, not sure how long before, a mechanic had used some sort of oil cleaner in the engine. Not sure if the two issues are related, but I do remember the mechanic who repaired the freeze-out plugs saying they were in pretty bad shape.

We bought the truck new and it was well maintained and regulary serviced. Then two weeks later the truck got totalled in an accident. What a wonderful waste of money.
