I bought my Dodge truck used in 2010 and it looked great. Then the paint began to fade on the hood and roof and now it looks awful. Don't have money to repaint. I have talked to so many Dodge truck owners who have the same problem. I have seen so many other makes of truck the age of mine and older but they don't look like mine. I am almost embarrassed to drive it although I have always wanted a Dodge truck. but my dream has turned into a nightmare!

Paint is coming off the cab and the hood. Really unsightly. Seems to have been a crappy paint job from the factory.

The paint on my Dodge Ram is not only fading, it's blistering and flaking off in large areas on the top surfaces despite my use of protective automotive waxes. I always wanted a truck like this one but have been very disappointed with it because of this and other problems.

Bought my '98 Ram used but didn't expect the paint to start fading, mainly on the roof and fenders. I began to notice other Dodge trucks and cars in the same age group having the same problem. Contacted Dodge about this and was told that Dodge was not aware of, and had not received any complaints involving paint fading. I asked if Dodge could help in any way with this and was told no. Am waiting to have a fender-bender in order to get a paint job,LOL!
