I wound up using a soldering iron to fuse the two pieces back together and shut it. I cannot use the holder anymore for fear that it will just break again. Dodge plastic really blows, they need better chemical engineers to figure that polymer stuff out. Maybe they should be looking to 3M or DOW for help.

Previous owner said he never used this compartment, I probably used it 20 or 30 times and the latch broke off. This was probably made by the same supplier that makes the dash boards that crack also. As I said before another reason to by a Honda or Toyota.
