This 05 Dodge Ram 4x4 ST 5.7 lt Hemi I bought this year 2019 the brakes were noise and I knew it needed a brake job and I should have told the dealer to fix them and I would buy it but stupid me, I bought it anyway and that's where my problem's started. Went to the part's store and got 05 Dodge Ram 1500 brake pads. They wouldn't fit. Then went back and took the old pads back and the part's man knows his part's and job. He said look at this and they matched. Come to find out the 05 had a 06 rear end. Dodge had made a change at the factory for an unknown reason and also changed the design of the 06 rear ends. According to the parts man, Dodge has a bad reputation for this that I didn't know.
