2005 Dodge Ram 1500. Consumer writes in regards to powertrain, front hub assembly and rear drive shaft U joints safety issues. The consumer provided invoices that state emergency brake is not working, as well as the upper control arms with ball joints need replacing.
The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that the plastic emergency brake lever broke off. The vehicle was previously replaced by the dealer in October 2009 for the identical failure. The failure recurred again in October 2010. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact called the manufacturer who stated that they would repair the vehicle under warranty. The VIN was unavailable. The current mileage was approximately 38,000. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
