Truck would over heat because of issue if you were not paying attention to the engine heat gauge. Had the radiator replaced by a local shop.

well to start dodge uses dexcool in there cooling systems. when i bought my truck it had dexcool in it. I have talk to several people and they say that if the coolant is not changed regularly then it can cause sludge in the cooling system and cause the overheating. I just tried to backflush my radiator and guess what. no luck it flows to slow. I have tried flushing it out. no luck. next step is to try to rot it out that is if i don't just buy a radiator first. found one on the net for $150.00.
