I was left stranded in a parking lot with my granddaughter after school. We ended up having to call for a ride home and, a tow truck to deliver the truck to a garage. After the installation of a new fuel pump, there was a problem with the gas gauge not functioning properly. A second fuel pump was ordered and installed which seemed to cure the problem.

At about 83,000 miles the fuel pump again crapped out on me. The same symptom occurred, only this time I was able to start and run the truck after it sat for a while. Of course, had to have the truck towed to the Dodge dealer and the fuel pump had to be replaced AGAIN!! OK, so that's 3 fuel pumps in the course of 8 months. What the!!!!?? Would love to know if there are others out there with the same problem. I hate to even think of taking a long vacation trip we have scheduled for next year for fear of history repeating itself!
