As a vietnam vet, I am not keen on shrapnel; have seen the effects. Would like to get this fixed if Chrysler can muster some quality control good argument about not buying spare or car parts from the orient.

Important safety recall S43/NHTSA 16V-352 passenger airbag inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants resulting in serious injury or death. Vehicle has been parked in excess of six months. According to Fiat Chrysler automobiles the parts required to provide a permanent remedy for this condition are not currently available. How long am I required to "park" this vehicle. Can I force Fiat chrsler automobiles to purchace my vehicle back so that I might get a reliable and safe car to drive?
Takata recall it has been 6 months since I received notice my airbags may be defective and still they have not been replaced!! I feel there is no sense of urgency to replace these as I have not heard when my truck will be fixed. I have signed up at the manufacturers recall website and still nothing. To someone who has been permanently disabled after being hit 7 times in my life it is pretty scary driving my truck and not knowing if I get hit again...will my airbags work correctly"?? please tell me when will this get fixed on my vehicle?"
See attached. Why has this not been fixed yet. I was in an accident yesterday and im lucky the passenger side air bag didn't go off. They both should have went off but didn't.
What does it take for the airbags to go off in an accident? I would think a head on crash into a telephone pole at about 45mph would be enough. Mine did not deploy. See attached pictures. Please explain!
