Multiple problems since day 1. unresolved vibration issues-related to tires and driveline and alignment. Outer tierod failure. Frt right brake assy failure - near accident, vehicle veered uncontrollably off road at 40mph-towed to dealer. Intermittent stalling and hesitating and low oil pressure during operation- truck stalled several occasions while driving - unresolved at this time. Multiple fluid leaks from failed vehicle seals and gasket-issue resolved. Vehicle has been to authorized Dodge dealers for 9 visits for a total of 45 days down time. In my opinion, this is an unsafe and unreliable vehicle. Not eligible for massachusettes strict lemon laws due to being a multitude of different problems.
Vibration at 60mph. Had 2 tires replaced did not help. Dealer put 4 new tires and rims on same problem. Problem is worse when towing trailer. 5 trips to dealer and they say it is normal to have vibration. Vibration is in seat and floorboard all tires ballanced properly they claim this is normal. Have found that this only seems to be a problem with 06 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4S.
: the contact stated when hitched up to a trailer, there was a vibration from the drive shaft during acceleration. The vehicle was serviced by an authorized service dealer, who replaced the drive shaft hanger. This helped reduce the vibration, but became worse with continued driving. The vehicle was returned a second time, where a more heavy duty replacement hanger was installed. The vibration continued during acceleration at all speeds, although it was not noticed when the accelerator pedal was not depressed. The manufacturer was not notified.
