problem #1

Dec 182009

Ram 1500 SLT 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 67,231 miles

I have had the truck 2 years replaced hub assembly in Dec. 2009 with 67312 miles on it and just replaced another one so averaging about a year out of them. The part is under recall was given a case number to have truck fixed but left up to the head manager of service in the Corbin Ky. area Pickard Chrysler just wish he could take the payment too asshole. The truck has a southern comfort conversion on it of which was done at factory it has sticker in the door what is so funny about this is Pickard Chrysler said due to it having the conversion on it that it not only met the recall but voided the warranty also on truck that any time you put an after market part on it even if it was sold out of their shop and put on by one of their mechanics it voided the warranty, after running the vin # it showed that they honored the recall in Feb 2007 in Mobile Alabama of which the conversion was put Jan of 2007 it had the lift on it then. Dodge advertises ounce a recall always a recall so what happened to them standing behind their product.

I was wanting a chrysler 300 but after this I would not recommened anyone to buy a product that has no warranty if the manufacture will not stand behind it why should anyone by it you would be better off to by a rebuild wreck you get a better warranty with them for half the price and a hell of alot less aggravation considering the payment that comes with these vehicles. I have talked to several people from dodge and all say they will send it here and there and it will be taken care of but when it is all said and done you would think it is coming out of their check. So the way I see it when they realize dumbasses like myself and others quit buying their sh*t we will see where they get their next pay day from. I will tell everyone I see to not buy a dodge to burn their money first it will save them alot of headache in the long run and as far a Chrysler Pickard in Corbin Ky they r a joke I would not take my dog their to be groomed little on my truck to be serviced.

The reputation that dodge has is only what the people work for them give them when you give your customer sh*t in return how long do you think you will be productive if you are not selling vehicles then how can you stay in bussiness with a negative service! Take care of the ones who care for you and keep your bussiness productive as honoring warranties recalls and complaints not putting them on the back burner for someone else. The hub assemblies are not the problem eliminate the problem that is causing these to got out and then you will not have any futher problems.
