Had my oil changed and the lifters started tinging and making loud noise. I used to have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 before this one and never had as much problems. I have had to change the ignition module twice because truck wouldn't start. I have changed the tie rod, steering was loose. The cloth seat on drivers side is worn and tore last year. Seat belt on drivers side will not retract by its self. The tailgate falls open when I hit a bump. I have taken the truck to a couple mechanic to fix the cranking and they didn't want to touch it. I will never buy another Dodge again!

I havnt had a days trouble from the truck until early one cold morning. I got in the truck and cranked it and it started knocking real loud so i shut it off and called dodge. the truck was a certified truck so it carried a 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty. They had it towed to a local dodge dealer to be repaired. after several days i was called to be informed the truck broke a rocker arm and it would not be warranted. they say it sludged up. i change the oil myself and did it regularly but did not keep any receipts where i bought the oil from so they wouldnt fix it. the dealer is in tyler, texas and after griping to dodge they say its the dealers call. i am disabled and not able to just go out and buy a new motor, so i paid 350. dollars and towed the truck home in peices which they wouldnt put back together. and here it sits in peices.
