The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuse panel needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 214,552.
The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Ram. The contact was driving 40 mph when the front passenger side headlight failed. The contact then pulled over to check the headlights but only the high beams were operable. The vehicle was not diagnosed for the failure. The bulb was replaced but the headlights were still inoperable.the dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 128,000 and the current mileage was 128,100.
No incident prior to failure. Head lights failed while driven at night on the express way at 65 mph, given no prior notice that it will fail. Dealer was contacted and will be replaced.
