I am in receipt of two recalls, P80 & P81. I have been waiting since February for resolution. The recall notice states "if your dealer fails to remedy within a reasonable time". who defines "reasonable"?

Called to set an appointment to have the P80 / nhtsa14V-795 recall repaired done on my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. Set to drop off my vehicle at 8:30 am on 4/1/2015 at chris nikel Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep (2920 N aspen ave broken arrow, ok 74012 918-355-5000). I left my truck with them and I called back this afternoon to check the status on it. They stated that they would need it for another 3 days to complete the work. I had an appointment with a 1 day promise and now its a 3-4 day job. Classic way of getting out from doing the job. I am a single father that cannot go 4 days without my truck. Very unprofessional and deceptive business practices. Me and my kids safety remains at risk because the recalls don't produce enough revenue for the dealership to remain a priority.

I received the recall notice in the beginning of January. I notified the dealer (arrigo Dodge of West palm beach, fl) and was advised that they were waiting for parts. It is now 2 months later and I am still waiting. What is the normal time for recall repairs. I feel that I am driving an unsafe vehicle. Please advise as to what recourse is available.

I was going to work traveling South on a magor road going 35 mph when another vehicle cut directly in front of my path making a left hand turn onto a cross street. There was no time to brake and my vehicle slammed into him. The other driver was cited by the police with a "failure to yield" citation. My seat belt did not lock and the airbags did not deploy. Upon impact my body was thrown forward and up resulting in whiplash and other injuries to my neck, shoulders and back. I hit my head on the front visor area and my chest area on the steering wheel.
