This my 6th complaint and I'm out of words. Everything had to be replaced before I was told it was TIPM board. That was just the beginning of the nightmare.

I pulled my truck off the Chrysler Dealership parking lot in May of this year with 69,000kms. Since pulling it off the lot, it has not started properly. It only does it on occasion, but it is happening more and more frequently. The dealership refuses to give me a straight answer and refuses to deal with it anymore. I have copied the link to the video I took of it doing it and hoping you can all help me...! Before asking, I am not cranking the key over, or holding it longer than I should.

Less than 3 months after purchasing my 2011 Dodge Ram, when the temperature dropped below 20 degrees the starter would not turn over the engine. After I pecked on the starter with a wrench I got it started and took to the dealership where of course they had a heated garage the mechanic did not even touch it. Of course, it was heated up so it would not have caused a problem at that time. I watched as the mechanic took the truck to the garage and he worked on other vehicles while mine set there for an hour while I watched him not work on it unknowing to him. He said nothing was wrong with it. I had words with the service manager because my wife and I were not gonna get stuck and walk in freezing temperatures any more. They did agree to put the starter after that. However, I had to throw a fit to get that starter put on the truck.

The next winter the same thing happened again. I had a 2011 Dodge Ram truck that did not start for 2 weeks. Had it not been for a 1981 FORD F-100, 2 wheel drive I would not have had any way to get to work. I tried the dealership again, I was told that the General Manager would call me back and I kept calling and I could not get anyone to return my calls. Still the problem is NOT FIXED. Come next winter it will do the same thing again. I feel the starter is not big enough for this big of an engine. This is the second dodge ram we have purchased. The first one was a 2007 and it kept eating up the tires. Tires were wearing out with only 9,000 miles on them. Had same problem with the same dealership to help replace the tires. No investigation was done to find out what the problem causing this was. I am very unsatisfied with the DODGE and with the dealerships way of handling their customers.

Hard crank would not start...would do this off and on. They said it was the fuel pump, put $900 in it and still not fixed. What a pain in the ass, especially when I drive all over the state and need my vehicle. Had to pay for a rental car for 3 days as well. Never buy a Dodge again what the heck was I thinking.

The truck, when cold, it will crank but will not start. After several attempts, the battery will die. Sometimes it will start after several minutes. Other times in the morning the battery it will be without power. After recharging the battery will start like it nothing happened.

I have taken it to the dealer under warranty period and as always, they don’t find the “condition”. Once I take the truck home, it will show the condition…. And it will take hours to get it started. After start, it runs just fine for few hours, but if I leave it parked and off for several hours, it will happen again.
