The contact owns a 1995 Dodge Ram 3500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle stopped accelerating. The contact examined the vehicle and noticed that the quick connects on the transmission lines were melted. As a result, transmission fluid was leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was not taken to have the failure diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the recall associated with NHTSA campaign id number 97V084000 (power train:automatic transmission:cooling unit and lines). The failure mileage was 139,000.
Headlamp switch overheats and could lose lights. Has to wait 15 minutes before lights come back on. Took to dealer. He has put on 3 headlamp switches. Consumer is still having the same problem. Also, speedometer goes out when very hot.
