Fuel pump, blowing fuses, fast as fuses are put in the are blown again. As soon start the vehicle the fuses blow. The botton fuse box where wire go into engine shout off relay, burned relay. This wire starts out a 10- gauge wire, it reduses down when it goes main controll module half the size. This also runs both coil packs and all the fuel injectors. The wiring harness need to be completely replace, and the modle needs to be inspected by a cetrfied Dodge mechine to make sure wiring is proper size and make sure there are not shorts in this.
While driving 30mph & started to smell an odor inside vehicle. Smoke was coming through the vents. Pulled to side of road & retrieved the fire extinguisher. After leaving vehicle, it was engulfed in flames. Fire department called & put out flames. Was extensive damage done to vehicle. Fire department suspected fire was caused by a short in electrical wirings, but not definite due to damage.
Vehicle experiencing problem with lower cover of the streeing column overheating from the inside of vehicle. Believed this condition is a result of ignition wiring runing through the cover. Cover was removed and connector was cleaned off and cover replaced. But condition still occurs whenever the fan to the A/C is used. Dealer/manufacturer were not notified at this time.
While driving the defective wiring of the tail lights and marker lights went out, could have caused an accident. Smelled like wiring burning. Currently at the dealer.
