Gas gauge on instrument panel will only register a reading of "empty" regardless of amount of fuel in vehicle. Dealership is aware of situation, but no determination has been made as to cause of problem.
Gas gauge has malfunctioned, moving up and down, going from a full tank of fuel to half a tank of fuel, which prevented driver to identify the correct fuel reading. Also, having other problems. Consumer has contacted the dealer. This vehicle had problem with ignition switch. Radio and the fan motor speeding up and down, the vehicle to lose power occasionaly. The air bag light comes on and off irregularly.
The gas gauge does not register the correct amount of fuel. The fuel indicator will show that the tank is empty when the tank is about 20 gallons filled.
