Consumer was involved in crash due to broken lower ball joint. Prior to incident, consumer took vehicle to ferrero Eagle, dealer in loveland co, tele#970-667-4433 for recall 99V066003 on Oct 23,2000. Dealer claimed it passed inspection, and did not do replacement.

Car was checked for the recall in August 1999. Was making a turn at about 10mph when the left front wheel fell off. As a result of the lower ball joint failure, the drive shaft was damaged as well and will need to be replaced.
