Towards the end of May, I was traveling and noticed that I wasn't gaining any power going down the highway when my MIL light came on, indicating that there was something wrong with the powertrain and the EcoBoost. I was able to limp it back home and got it in the shop. When they performed the diagnosis, it revealed that the turbo had blown up due to an issue with the emission system. I got no notification for this, but when I called Ford CS they were able to see all the codes. Ford refused to do a buyback because I don't live in California, and they also refused any type of financial help. It also needed a new water pump that I had replaced 1 1/2 yrs ago. The turbo is on back order for who knows how long. Unfortunately for me my only option in this whole mess was to do a voluntary repo because I can not work without a vehicle.
