My Sync fully died today!!! My phone connects but I can't call on it through the Sync system and if someone calls me, I have to answer using the phone, as the controls on the steering wheel and display don't work. When I use the Sync command lever on the steering wheel it doesn't chime or ask me for my command. The radio won't turn off through the knob or the Sync display. It doesn't even turn off when I turn off the car, remove the keys and open the door. It will eventually power down after a few minutes so that my battery doesn't die. I also can't control the radio volume through knob or the steering wheel control. When I press the command buttons on the Sync display they don't make any noise. The GPS tracks my car accurately but the map looks different than it did before. I'm not sure if I can input an address and get directions. I quit using the navigation system a long time ago because it doesn't track traffic, doesn't respond well to voice commands, and doesn't give the best directions. I use Waze now. I just replaced the transmission and I don't want to replace the computer. HELP!!
