The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed with transmission failure. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the transmission had previously been replaced by the dealer two years prior to the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was advised to report the failure to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 75,900.

The dealer was made aware of the issue and informed him that parts were not yet available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

The contact stated that the shifter cable bushing was replaced; however, the transmission needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
