The frame rust/rot it is most significant on the passenger side in front of the rear tire, below the bench seat. The lower portion of the frame beam is separating from the beam. We have an appointment for a frame specialist to look at the truck to determine if the issue area can be bracketed and welded with fresh metal. Mechanic said to not plan on a long term relationship with the truck. We have already repaired the fender rot around the wheel wells, and the tailgate is showing significant rust too. Have never owned a vehicle that rusts like this one.
