I am the original owner of a 2004 Ford E 350 diesel, it has been in the shop many of times for the same problem truck stops running in middle of intersections, highways etc does not start and needs to be towed.Ford dealership has no idea what is wrong with truck, I get truck back same thing happens. Repeatedly. Now that the truck is out of warranty same thing happens result: Delaminating fuel tank, little slivers of paint clogging fuel lines, pumps and injectors.
The consumer's two 2004 E350's have weight issues. On 5/15/06 the trucks were taken to a repair facility and the consumer was told that the gross vehicle weigh rating on the side door of the vehicle is 14,200 lbs. The consumer's paper work read 11,500 lbs. When the vehicle was weight empty it weighed 9,988 lbs. The repair facility indicated that they could not release the vehicle's to the consumer until they received and answer from dot. 2004 Ford E350 22' glaval universal 15 passenger vehicle.
