Ok. First off, I'm in the military. You know, good ol' US Army. Well, needless to say, for me to be late to work is like most people just not showing up for a week. Your boss is gonna be PISSED. So I rely.. no.. I DEMAND for my car to be in good performance. It's my way to work, the store, daycare, etc. My oil indicator was lit last week, so I dropped 3 quarts in and forgot all about it. Then yesterday it lit up again. "What the hell?" I thought. Then it starting this low knocking noise. But me being in the Army, I'm broke as hell, so I figured it might hold off until payday. This morning on my way to work, the low knock became a loud pounding that overcame the stereo. Oil is all over the engine (don't ask what part cause I don't have a clue what they're all called) And it jerks with each pound enough to give you whip lash. Anybody know how much it'll cost to fix, or what is even wrong? (As for the miles on my car, no clue. It's used, but it's in basically good condition)
