This is my second Expedition. It also happened on my 2004 Expedition!!! I think Ford should be fixing these paint bubbling problems!!! It's on the hood and back liftgate!!

Expedition EL XLT V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 47,000 miles

I just want to add regarding 2014 Ford Expedition EL. The paint is bubbling on my hood and on the tailgate for now, and Ford is telling me that the 36,000 miles is out of warranty. This is my 2nd EL with the same exact problem and just after the " Warranty". I owned a 2008 same model and the same problems. When will they stand by their product or even recognize this issue? I will never buy a Ford again.

Ford's customer service suck. They know they have a paint issue as this has been going on in their vehicles for nearly a decade now. Shame on Ford, they need to hire engineers that understand the relationship to did-similar metals and that the aluminum will corrode because of this. We don't have time to fight with them and will never buy another (this is our third Ford vehicle). I don't care what their morons say in customer service, paint should not fall off a $60,000 vehicle in three years. Pathetic.
