Driving down road and lost power steering. Took all my strength to steer truck. Pulled over and discovered also lost turn signal, headlights didn't work. Two messages came up, check traction control and low battery power save mode. Might of been other things not working but didn't check for anything else. Drove it to Ford dealer. Again took all my strength to turn steering wheel. Was driving down straight road about 20 mph. Very lucky didn't happen on corner or when wife driving it.

After turning on the rear defroster for about 2-3 minutes the right rear window shattered. (if looking from behind its the far right out of the 3 part window. ) iturned it on and drove on a straight road for 1/4 to 1/2 mile at aprox 35 mph. We heard a loud pop/bang and looked around and found the shattered window. No puncture mark or hole from any object hitting it. Apparently this is a common problem according to reviews and news articles as there is a defect in the defroster over heating. Luckily it stayed in the window so we do not have glass every where but it could fly out every where at any second. This is extremely dangerous, especially if you have a child in the back.

After having my truck fail to start several times I discovered it was a "fuse 27" issue with the truck. This issue is so prevalent that the Ford dealer knew the issue by name as soon as I described it. The fuse, located in slot 27 of the main fuse panel was severely burned and charred from an overload issue that causes the fuse to burn in its socket instead of tripping like a fuse is designed. After researching the issue, I discovered this is a known issue to Ford (tsb 15-0137) and hundreds, possibly thousands of Ford F-150 vehicles are affected with this issue. This issue is a potential fire hazard to the vehicle, or could cause loss of power at highway speeds. Ford is choosing to release a tsb and a repair kit, and charge customers to fix their faulty wiring in their new vehicles instead of a recall or warranty coverage of a known issue they are not fixing. This is dangerous and irresponsible on Ford's part.

Have lost power steering, brakes, and engine twice at different inclines, low/moderate speeds and while or after turning right. Both caused by a blown fuse (once fuse27, then after repair fuse70). During the second occasion this almost caused a serious and significant accident. Clearly there is an electrical issue as it happened a second time after repair by the dealership. Loss of power is sudden and in my case the vehicle would not restart because the fuse was blown.

On February 20, 2016 I purchased a Ford F150 lariat edition from an individual. The vehicle was coming off a lease. I drove the truck to my home and parked it in my driveway until I received the title on March 8. on March 9 I drove it and noticed an odd smell but thought it may have been in the air conditioner. On March 10 I as I was driving, I noticed that same smell but also saw smoke. I pulled over to the side of the road. I looked under the dashboard but did not see or smell where the smoke was coming from. As the smoke was still being produced, I called 911 and started to take my personal items out of the cab. On one of the trips to remove items from the console, a burning piece of the headliner fell on my left hand. At that point the 911 operator told me to move away from the vehicle. By the time the fire department arrived the truck was fully on fire.

Driving at 30 mph and suddenly an orange wrench shows on the instrument panel. The vehicle is unresponsive and shuts down into a safe mode where I have no power to the gas pedal but it steers and drives very slowly. It has happened 2 times since owning the vehicle for only 7 months, it's a scary position to be in when you're in the flow of traffic and suddenly aren't. I've read on line reports of this incident on several Ford products. I took it to the shop for service and they have no reason it's happening they indicated that since it's an intermittent problem there is nothing they can do to solve it.......nonsense.

Vehicle was stopped at a red light with the operator's foot on the bake, vehicle began to accelerate unintentionally, operator was unable to stop and avoid collision of car in front of truck until the vehicle was placed in park. This prevented a collision from occurring. Incident occurred a second time on 1/22/2015 when vehicle was stopped at intersection. Truck narrowly missed oncoming traffic before transmission was forced by operator into "park". continuing to apply pressure on the brakes and pumping the brakes were not successful in stopping the acceleration of the vehicle.

Once more this truck has lunged without notice!! with the truck in my garage I pushed the button (inside the truck) to open the garage door, started the truck and as soon as I put in in reverse it lunged backwards just catching/hitting the bottom of the garage door as it was going up, some scuffs on the trucks tailgate trim and it bent the lower garage door panel and knocked it off the track. Ford has done squat to fix this issue along with other major issues this truck has from day one!! NHTSA please look into these issues!!

Warning lights came on dash about stability or traction control, no 4X4 lights were showing even though I had it in four wheel drive. Within seconds I could not control my truck in the snow and the steering would not allow me to change my course of direction. This truck acted like it was not in four wheel drive. My truck slammed/slid sideways into a curb on the rotary by my home causing $2129.19 damages to tires and rims and front end parts. After I hit the curb the 4X4 light was showing as was the traction control lights and I was able to steer my truck and keeping it from dropping over an embankment. My speed was 15 miles per hour as I came towards the rotary. I contacted Ford and received a call back 11/6/14 stating that I needed to go through my insurance and that my insurance company was welcome to subrogate this with Ford legal counsel. The woman that called would not answer any question about what this all meant just that I needed to deal with my insurance company over and over.

I got in my truck to start it and it was completely dead. No fire whatsoever. Service traction control light was on and trailer park light or something was on. Radio, windows, doors, lights, everything worked. It just did not start at all. Had to have it towed. Dealership reset computer. Light still came on. Took it back a week later, because the service trac control light was coming on and staying on again. Can't find any thing wrong with it. This is a brand new truck. My lord. Something needs to be figured out with it. Why pay for a brand new truck that you are afraid to drive. Lucky this took place in my own yard, and not out of town or something.
