Some of the highlights are sync system not updating, brakes going to the floor, steering wheel locked up, no key detected, collision assist not working (had it in the shop for this could not replicate or fix), switch on massaging seat went out, seat firmness settings are constantly changing on there own, door locks are activating on there own. Seat go back and forth by themselves, windows wont roll down, when that happens the a/c turns off. Wipers constantly do a courtesy wipe for no reason, Fords salesperson told me that, that will never get fixed. Tailgate came down while the truck was in the garage. Ford told me to record video to prove to them that it was happening, but I could not get a video camera to work inside the truck. Many, many other problems. Bottom line the truck was, and is still being hacked. The Ford tech, at Ford told me that. I have had nothing but trouble with it and the dealer that I bought it from. I even asked Ford to buy it back twice. I have started a story to post online,  I still in the process of refining it, here it is.

My Ford truck story. In May of 2019 after retiring I was looking to buy a new truck, one that would last me thought the rest of my years. I was paying cash so I could buy any brand and make of vehicle that I wanted. So after several months of research I decided on a Ford Platinum. well I started searching within 150 miles around my location and found one at my local dealer. so the next day I went in to look at the truck. the salesman was great and eager to help me. that being said he had just pulled off the truck a new F150 Limited, after getting in the drivers seat of both trucks I seen how much nicer that the Limited was compared to the Platinum. Well long story short I purchased the Limited. Everything was great for the first month or so, then after connecting the truck to my home WI-FI and cellphone I started having many issues with my home WI-FI and everything that was connected to it. then one day I was trying to reset my password on my Samsung phone and the sim card ended up getting hacked. Then the electrical issues started on the truck.

I took the truck into the Ford dealer where I bought it and the replaced the massaging seat switch and told my that it should have fixed the problem. Then the wipers kept doing a courtesy wipe, so I take it back in for that and they replaced the APIM module. still the wipers and several other electrical issues where going on. So I take it back in and tell them that there were several electrical issues with the truck. They kept insisting that it was me that I just did know how to operate the electrical options on the truck. Well for to about 1-2 years after the truck was bought and a flyer comes in the mail from my local Ford dealer telling me that they were having a special promo and want to buy back (steal back) my truck! I told the that I would not let it go that cheap. The sales person who was trying to do the buyback, also said that the wiper problem that I was experiencing would never be fixed. So I go on having major electrical issues I take it back in to the dealer and talk to the owner and he says that he will have to get one of he top techs on it and He did. After He looked at it, and supposedly fixed I picked it up that afternoon.

As I was leaving the dealer it was pouring down rain I came to the first stoplight and the collision assist worked fine, then the at the next light it didn't work at all. then as I was speeding up I noticed that the rain sensing wipes were not working. So I immediately take the truck back and tell the owner that the truck was still not fixed right. He said to me to just drive it, so I did. Still having issues, I take it back in the next day or two and He is setting at the counter and I told Him that the issues with the truck were still happening. Then He jumps up out of his seat and told me that He had, had about enough of me, coming in there all the time and He said I am sorry for what you are going through (my wife was in the hospital with stage 3 non alcoholic-liver disease, and I did know if she was going live) then He pointed at the door in a gesture for me to get out. So I left, and never returned, out of fear. He also kept telling me to take the truck to another dealer, to work on it. My whole life has been hacked. My identity has been compromised. I can not hardly even set up accounts in my name. I cannot keep my online accounts secure. I have spent thousands of dollars trying to get my life back to normal. I have had to replace cell phones change ISP, cellphone carriers, computers, iPads. I could not establish any secure internet service or satellite tv service for over a year. I still do not know who, or what to trust and, what is real or fake in my life. It is a terrible way to live ones life!!! There is still a lot more to this story this is just some of the highlights.
