We are really dissatisfied with both Ford and the dealership over this problem! We purchased an extended warranty on this vehicle and they say it's not covered, and that is just unfair and not in good faith. This morning we had standing water in the passenger side floorboards both front and rear after a rainstorm last night. The dealer said they couldn't get to it until Monday so I went home and wet-vacuumed it myself and emptied 9 gallons of water out of it!!! Could you imagine what it would have smelled like after a summer weekend in Georgia? I'm sure despite my efforts the carpet is ruined,it will mildew and begin to smell and never be right. In my opinion, this is most certainly a design flaw and should be corrected by the manufacturer at no cost to me! They design these things in Detroit for crying out loud, where I might add they get an average of 2-3 feet of snow a year! I know I used to live there!!! I used to like Ford products but they don't step up to the plate and correct the problem I'll never buy another one! They claim Detroit is back, huh I have serious doubts!

I purchased this car new from Dean Sellers in Michigan who did not disclose that this vehicle had 8 pages of Warranty for repairs (Water) had been passed between multiple dealers and then sold to me as new. I had the vehicle for 9 days when there was a heavy rainstorm, when I got in the car to go home, water was pouring in through the map lights and onto the center console where all the electronics are located. Needless to say, the electronics were no longer working. I ended up with a pond in the vehicle. Took it to a Dealership where I now live in Ohio, where it was "Fixed" under warranty and told it was like new. Did they replace the electronics???? NO< they simply dried the wires off, not sure the life expectancy is on the electronics or computer components after being drenched on multiple occasions.

Complained to Ford, Ford Rep, the original Dealer I bought it from with no resolution except... The Michigan Dealer, Dean Sellers, they said I could bring it back, trade it in and purchase another vehicle for more money... ARE YOU KIDDING ME! NOT A SOLUTION.

This was my 6th vehicle from Ford and my last. They should have taken the car back because as far as I am concerned they sold as new, when it was not. Before I bought it, someone from Ford should have pulled that vehicle because it had been already filled with water multiple times and then passed from Dealer to Dealer like a "Hot Potato" until some unsuspecting buyer, who wouldn't dream that they would have to ask to see Warranty work on a BRAND NEW VEHICLE, bought it.
