Flex SEL 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,300 miles

2019 Ford Flex SEL failure. I started the car and it again flashing all the alerts, bells and whistles and navigation system failed too like in the Apollo 13 movie and again SEL light came on with same P2610 code. Back to dealer on September 8, 2020 for another 3 weeks without being able to duplicate issue in their shop. I picked my car up on Friday and said I'll be back.

My wife is afraid to drive this car which was the reason I purchased it. I've owned this vehicle for 10 weeks, it has spent 4 weeks in shop. I've only put about 400 miles on this car, the dealer has put on over 100. Ford states they have to be connected to the vehicle while it's happening to be able to figure it out. I get that but it's so infrequent and lasts for only a minute at a time that I'm not sure they will ever figure this out and I'm stuck with a lemon and a car note.

Flex SEL 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,100 miles

Purchased this used 2019 Ford Flex on July 15th 2020. I only drove it for about 200 miles and all of the sudden every dummy light came on which occurred on August 8th, 2020. This happened 3 times during the drive but engine never shut and never lost any systems, just indicators. Eventually SEL came on with code P2610. Dropped it off at dealer and they could not start it. They had to push it into their shop. They cleared code and kept testing it for a week and could not duplicate the issue, so no fix.
