As I was parking the car, foot on the brake pedal, the car lurched forward, throwing the car over a parking stop. I put the car in reverse and it did the same thing, lurching without applying the gas pedal. The fail safe mode came along with the wrench and engine light. Car was towed home. I had the throttle body examine and cleaned, and problem seems to have been minimized, but now the engine runs at 500 - 1000 RPMs higher than normal. Also, while shifting between gears(automatic) there is a hard transition. Mechanic is looking into this as I write.
