We own a 2006 Ford Freestyle that had a safety recall # 06S45 pertaining to door latches sticking. It was performed in 2006. On Feb 10 2010 the door latch failed to work while I was buckling my children into the car. I took the car to the dealership and they said everything looked fine to them. I called Ford Motor Company and they told me that since they performed the recall in 2006 that they were no longer responsible for the safety of my passengers.
