Same thing happened all over again. I Worked fill the boot for the fire department. The car sat for ~4 ½ hours and then went to go home. Went out to start the car around 12 p.m. Car started fine and didn’t notice anything unusual. Drove about a block and noticed that the driver’s side airbag light was on. At the same time it was noted that all indicators on the dash were dead. There was no speedometer, rpm indications, and battery or temp gages. It was also noted that the turn signals did not work nor did the A/C. However, the fan was working and the radio worked. Car runs very rough. Also, noticed this time that the door locks do not function when the vehicle moves. Car remains unlocked. Backup lights stay on no matter what gear you are in.

Drove up to Thayer in the morning and into Cherokee Village to check out a sale and returned home about noon.

Went out to start the car around 4 p.m. to go to the store. Proceeded to the store but nothing changed. Several times during the trip the panel lights would flash but not stay on.

On returning home, all of a sudden, the panel indicators all came on, the A/C came on and worked for about 2 miles and then went dead again. My son came over and we did a little troubleshooting and web searching. We could hear a clicking under the dash and periodically the dash indicators would come on. It was also noted that when all lights and indicators on the dash were off that the backup lights were on no matter what gear we were in.

When I run the a/c it starts to go off and on by itself, then the engine starts to shut off and on, the air bag light comes on followed by the wrench light. We have changed the throttle body and the smart junction box. No one seems to know what the problem is and now the car is running this way even without running the a/c.I have e-mailed Ford Motor Company asking for help but they offered none.
