I take good care of my car and when I saw the paint bubbling on the front left AND right side of the hood I called the dealer. I spoke with the body shop and they said that it was the aluminum paint that was used and that this is not covered at all. This is the same story I was told about the aluminum used on the hub caps that are also erroding away. At the time I called the dealer my car was only 4 maybe 5 years old, WAY to early to be having any sort of bubbling paint issues. I am starting to look at other vehicles and since ford has not stood behind this and a few other issues happening with my car, I'm really on the fence even to look at purchasing another ford. I feel that from a consumers point of view, that since I bought the car I am now on my own with no dealer support.
