i have owned this 2007 Ford Freestyle since 6/17/13. Less than 2 years. I have repair bills in the thousands. At the time of the repairs I would reason that the car is worth more than the repairs, and hope that would be it for awhile. Not the case, can't seem to get past 2 months without repairs. My daughter owns a 2006 Ford 500, which is the same motor, chassis,etc.. I have had to change the transmission and thousands of dollars in repairs with that car, which I purchased at the same time as the Freestyle. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with these cars. In the past I have owned several Fords, mostly Taurus. Back then they might have had a couple of issues that you would be aware this might happen. For example, the timing belt would go around 120,00 miles, and so it would be as I said. With these present cars, any and everything keeps a monthly repair bill in my budget.
