It needs resolved immediately! I have not had any accident with the car but it could happen any time and may affect my ability to sell or trade this car!

Takata recall: The takata recall for the passanger side airbag in my 2008 Ford Fusion has been out for about a year now and there still aren't any replacement parts yet. When will the replacement parts come in?
Takata recall I received the first notice in June 2016. It's 2018 and nothing has been done to remedy my car. I just received a new notice telling me not to allow anyone in my front passenger seat. I'm pregnant and have a 2 year old. This is me and my husband's only mode of transportation. Ford has the parts, they just don't want to pay upfront. They need to give us a lender vehicle or allow us to get the repair immediately. I would even pay for the repair upfront if I knew I'd be reimbursed. They can't just tell 2 years after the first notice, 'hey don't drive your car' to try to get rid of any liability. It's ridiculous. They've been putting my family in serious danger for years and it is despicable and should be illegal.
September 8 we had a car accident and our car was totaled the air bags none of them ever went off, even the police and paramedic were concerned, and being a nurse I am very concerned, we were getting off bypass and another car hit us. We were rear ended

Takata recall I have received a safety recall which states that "the passenger frontal airbag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash necessitating airbag deployment." It, also, states that "a ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death." I have received three letters to this effect, beginning July, 2016. In addition, the letter states "if your vehicle contains a defective or potentially defective airbag inflator and is under recall, contact your nearest dealership immediately to schedule a free repair." I contacted Ford several times, and they say they do not have the parts to replace the airbags. Today, I called Ford again, and I was told the part is "currently being developed in conjunction with our suppliers. They are expecting parts the spring of 2018; however, no specific date has been determined. Finally, I was denied a loaner vehicle until the parts come in. I have no transportation, as I am handicapped and cannot easily get into the back seat. Also, the letter stated that metal fragments could strike vehicle occupants, so it would not matter where they were seated. I am looking for a loaner (free of charge) until replacement parts are put in, or I would like to have all of the airbags disengaged permanently, until the replacement parts come in.
Takata recall: Got an initial notice in 2016 and still no available airbag replacement according to Ford. Nothing has happened but what will happen if I'm involved in an accident and the airbag is deployed"???"

Takata recall airbag on recall for over a year and no fix in sight was told not to put anyone in my front seat Ford will not give a loaner. Also now my ABS systems is having trouble and they have not issued a recall even though others are experiencing the same trouble. Car is literally a death trap. When driving I have to push brakes to the floor and pump them to get it to stop my brakes and rotors are both good
Takata recall. I contacted my local dealer twice over this past year and Ford refuses to give me a date when they can fix my car. Honda fixed my airbag over a year ago and gave me a free rental. Ford does not care if anyone dies in my car. This is unacceptable.
Takata recall - after receiving notification about the faulty airbag psan inflators made by takata corporation in 2016, I am still awaiting a replacement from Ford Motor Company as of January 2018. The resolution time is unacceptable and puts me and my vehicle occupants at risk for injury or death. I have contacted Ford on numerous occasions to receive an update, but am told parts are unavailable and may become available in spring 2018. My major complaint is the time to resolve the issue and the risk that takata and Ford have placed me and my family in by not resolving the issue in an expedient manner. I would like the NHTSA to explore options with Ford for them to issue me a safe method of similar and acceptable transportation while we continue to wait. Two years for resolution is too long. I look forward to your prompt reply.
