Takata recall. The dealer in Wisconsin is unable to remedy this safety recall for my vehicle in a timely manner. The dealer says no replacement part is available.
Takata recall in June 2016 I received a recall notice from Ford (16S26) on a takata passenger. As of Oct 2017 there has been no solution provided. Last week I got a notice saying that takata is ending all claims on Dec 27 when I called takata and Ford, neither company could tell me what to do other than to wait for a pending solution. So if the airbag goes off and causes an injury after Dec 27th I have no recourse. Since the terms of the document they gave me indicate that I can submit a claim for future incidences I tried going to the website to do so but the link to fill out the claim for is not working.
Takata recall noticed about recall, however no action taken by Ford to date. When went for regular oil change at dealership, inquired about recall. Was advised by service shop that there was nothing indicated yet.
Takata recall-- my local Ford dealer, heiser Ford, has indicated they do not have the available parts to perform this recall, and don't know when they will. This is outrageous and I fear dangerous to my continued reliance on the airbags. How can I get this recall corrected?
I received a letter in July of 2016 for a recall for air bags, called Ford two times last year and airbag not in. I called my Ford dealer today October 28, they still do not have air bag. Also received in mail yesterday that's takata is declaring bankruptcy.
Received recall notice and contacted dealer (magic city Ford - roanoke, va 24019), but they said that they could not do anything, and that I need to contact the number on the recall form. When I called that number, they told me to contact the dealer. No incident has occurred.
"takata recall" I received a recall letter approximately 15 months ago. Went to Ford dealership and was told they don't have any airbags for my vehicle. Didn't know when the would get them. Called Ford motor customer service. All I got from them was an apology and you'll have to wait. I would like to get this hazard air bag problem resolved asap.
"takata recall" why does it take many years to get the new airbag parts? people have been killed, yet it seems that this will drag on for years! I want my car recalled and repaired asap
Takata recall I was notified in July 2016 of the airbag recall and was told there was no fix at that time and I would be notified when there was a fix. I revisited my local Ford dealership in July of 2017 and was told there was still no fix. I received from tk holdings Inc. About them filing for chapter 11 and I should contact my dealer immediately and have my airbag fixed. There is still no fix available.
Takata recall, received notice of recall July 2016, always told that Ford either doesn't have the parts or they haven't been sent to dealers yet. Last check-Oct. 26th, 2017 with dealership. There is potential for serious injury or death if the airbag ruptures.
