Takata recall. We received a recall notice from Ford Motor Company in July 2016 they still do not have the parts. The letter says the car is dangerous to a passenger. Two year wait for a dangerous issue is terrible! no one will do anything about it.
Takata recall- I received my first safety recall letter regarding the passenger frontal airbag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash back in July 2016. In December 2017 I received another letter stating parts were still not available and the recommend until they become available, to not allow anyone to sit in the passenger seat. 2 years later my car is still not fixed and I contacted several dealers yesterday again regarding this matter and they are still waiting on parts. They informed me to call Ford to file a complaint.
Takata recall received notification of recall of passenger airbag in March 2017. Recall states a ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death. Given this information, I've received no further information on how this can be fixed and its been over a year. I don't understand how this is allowed knowing the risks. Please tell me what the plan for getting this recall fixed asap. Thankfully, I haven't had anything happen yet, but who knows if I would live to file a complaint about it...

I have a 2008 Ford Fusion and the plate on the dash where the passenger side airbag is lifting and you can clearly see where my airbag is about to deploy. It has as well messed my dash up there is such a gap. I have called Ford Motor Company and all they tell me is that they do not have the part and do not know when they will get it as well telling me not to drive my car. Well I have to have transportation so what do they expect me to drive"???? I am really hoping it does not deploy considering this has been over a year that it is on recall and just so you know my VIN use to show the recall and now it does not!!! why is that???"
Takata recall I received first notice of defective air bag in July 2016. I made several calls to no avail. No parts available to replace. Second notice received in December 2017 with warning to not have riders in passenger seat. Made several more calls. Still no parts! this is unacceptable to go for two years with a dangerous defect with no remedy! and not be able to have passengers! no one has an answer.........I have two case #'s 10730307 and 12294037. Very unhappy with Ford's service!
My vehicle was in motion every time the problem occurs. I lose all braking ability for approximately two to no more than five second periods. This has occurred on six total occasions on different days and months.I have replaced my vehicles master cylinder six months ago. I don't feel safe driving my own car. I have witnesses that can confirm this information. The problem has occurred on highways, public roads, also in private drives.
