Takata recall we purchased this vehicle from a local dealership in January of 2018 who never disclosed that there was an ongoing recall. We received a letter in the mail today describing the recall. It states that the dealership is authorized to provide a rental vehicle, but this vehicle was purchased for my son to drive (his name is also on the title) and he is underage and unable to rent a vehicle. This recall has been active since July 2016, Ford needs to be made accountable for this.

Recall notice issued June 1, 2016 and parts are still not available to replace the passenger side airbag. This is not acceptable. Is NHTSA putting any pressure on the automakers to remedy this situation? surely if they can develop a new car and have it on the market in two years, they can have one component developed and available in two years. This delay in getting airbag components to the public is totally unacceptable.
"takata recall" received notice almost a year ago and a follow-up winter of 2018. Ford still does not have a solution to the front passenger airbag. In the letter received from Ford it stated to not let passengers ride in the front passenger seat for their safety. I now have a sedan that cannot be used as intended and no adequate date of a resolution.
Takata recall currently my dash is starting to warp, it looks as if its going to explode on its own. I have had it looked at a few times and was warned not to drive the car both times. I use this car to commute to work and drop my little brother off at school. I do not let people sit in my front seat in fear of harming them. My airbag light has been on causing me to be ineligible for inspections such as emissions, in order to receive actual plates on my car. My registration is currently suspended until I can provide proof that my car is eligible to pass, concluding why I need this airbag now. It's been two years since I was first notified and I've waited far to long thinking that Ford or takata would be doing anything to help me.
Takata recall - we have contacted 2-3 dealers and they all say they will follow up when the airbag can be replaced but no one has called. This recall originated in January 2017, so it's been nearly 18 months now. I don't feel safe having the defective airbag in my car and they have done nothing about replacing it or contacting me with an update about when it can be repaired.
Takata recall it has been 2 yrs since the recall and still have not had the issue fixed, when I check says not remedy yet and receive a letter saying to not let any one ride in front in passenger side. Really what is the point of having a 5 passenger car and no one can sit in front. Ford needs to make things right or should disconnect the air bags till the problem can be fixed.

Re: NHTSA recall number16V384; manufacturer recall number16S26 in two more days, I will have been waiting for two years for the defective airbag inflators in my 2008 Ford Fusion to be replaced. The vehicle spent its first 7.5 years in the hot and humid hell that is central Texas, which should make this vehicle a priority for replacement of its defective airbag inflators. Ford takes the easy way out and points the finger at takata, leaving drivers and passengers risking their lives. Can you please prod Ford to find another supplier of inflators and get busy replacing the fedective inflators in vehicles from hot & humid areas?

The dashboard is bulging it doesn't look good and it doesn't feel safe. I wonder if it would activate correctly at an impact during an accident or if it would activate while riding down the road. It started on the right side passenger and it has slowly moved to the left side driver. This started happening over 2 years ago and it's slowly become worse. Ford needs to be held accountable for the fix this is cosmetic but it also is functional with the airbag right behind it where it started.
Takata recall. I would like the airbag that's suppose to save a life and that's been recalled to be replaced so it's safe and won't possibly kill anybody. No problems as of yet. Please advise. Airbag has been recalled for two years. Something needs to be done.
