While I was merging onto the freeway my car lost all power and began to quickly decelerate. Thankfully I was able to get onto the shoulder before the vehicle behind me had to take action to miss me.

The car was new june 8, 2016. Month later lost power to radio, ac, power windows. Came back on and went back off 3 times in 2 miles. Have had it to the dealership 3 times and they finally were able to "recreate" the problem but need a code for Ford to authorize repair. Suspect a module. My concern is losing driving power in the middle of the highway. Anyone else have this issue?

I was driving at 55 Miles Per Hour - and the vehicle shook and sputtered - the wrench bar came on. The car slowly came to a halt - and shut down. I let the vehicle set for a bit - restarted it - and was able to limp it to the dealer. I looked on the internet and found that it was a common problem. The throttle body is defective. There should be a recall - many people have reported the problem. The dealer was good - and replaced it right away. I just think that knowing the problem exists - they should take care of it before someone gets hurt.

digital screens went out, no power to A/C, heaters, power st

Well there is definitely an electrical issue, causing the battery to be drained so much that anything electrical on the vehicle shuts down. When driving 70 mph on the toll road in the evening and you loose all your displays, power steering , it can cause you to slightly panic. After coming to place to stop, then I was pretty furious knowing well it was another issue with the battery, this happened to me at 3500 miles, and now at 7000 miles. There is most definitely a problem with the ford fusions electrical system or to much electronics draining the battery which obviously cant handle the electrical load. so disappointed with this new car, its a shame I still 5.5 years to pay on this piece of garbage.
